Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want you to give with confidence. This policy explains how donations, refunds, and recurring gifts work at White Flower Foundation — clearly and fairly.
1 Overview
At White Flower Foundation, every contribution matters, and we want you to give with confidence. Donations are processed quickly and securely, and funds may be allocated to the chosen cause shortly after a donation is made. Your donation goes directly toward the cause you choose to support.
We know questions occasionally come up, and we review every legitimate concern fairly and in good faith. This policy explains when a refund may be available, how recurring (monthly) donations work, and how to reach us if something doesn't look right. This policy operates alongside our Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.
2 Donation Finality
Because donations help real causes — often within a short time of being received — contributions made through White Flower Foundation are generally non-refundable once processed. This is consistent with standard practice across charitable-giving platforms in the United States, and it allows support to reach the people and causes who need it without delay.
That said, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis, and we will always look at genuine concerns with care and in good faith.
3 Eligible Refund Requests
While donations are generally final, we may consider a refund in situations such as:
- A duplicate donation — you were charged more than once for the same intended gift.
- An accidental or incorrect amount entered at checkout (for example, a typo).
- An unauthorized or fraudulent payment made without your permission.
- A payment processing or technical error that affected the transaction.
- Verified misuse, fraud, or policy violation involving a campaign or its organizer.
If your situation falls into one of these categories, please reach out — we're here to help make it right.
4 Non-Refundable Situations
To keep support flowing to real causes, refunds are generally not granted for:
- A simple change of mind or donor's remorse.
- Dissatisfaction with how a campaign turns out.
- Disagreement with a cause or its organizer.
- Delays in updates, or a campaign not meeting its fundraising goal or expectations.
- Outcomes that differ from what you hoped for, including timelines or specific results.
Charitable giving involves real-world uncertainty. A donation is a contribution toward a cause — not the purchase of a guaranteed result, timeline, or outcome.
5 Recurring / Monthly Donations
We are deeply grateful to our monthly supporters — recurring gifts provide steady, dependable help that lets causes plan ahead.
- You can cancel a recurring (monthly) donation at any time.
- Cancellation stops all future charges going forward.
- Cancellation does not retroactively refund donations that have already been processed.
Because we do not currently use accounts or login dashboards, our team handles cancellations directly for you. To cancel a recurring donation, simply contact us (see Section 9) from the email address you used at checkout, and we will take care of it promptly.
6 Refund Review Process
Since White Flower Foundation does not use accounts or logins, we only need a few details to locate your donation and review your request. Please include:
- Your full name (as entered at checkout).
- The email address used for the donation.
- The approximate date of the donation.
- The donation amount.
- The name of the campaign you supported.
- A short explanation of the issue.
Providing this information helps us review your request quickly and accurately. We may request additional details to verify a payment when necessary.
7 Refund Processing Time
We aim to review refund requests within 5–7 business days of receiving the information above. If a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method used for the donation.
Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refunded amount to appear on your statement. We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method than the one originally used.
8 Fraud, Abuse & Payment Disputes
We are committed to protecting donors, organizers, and the integrity of the Platform. If you have a concern about a donation, please contact us first — in nearly all cases we can resolve it directly, and usually faster than a bank dispute.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may delay resolution, and we reserve the right to respond to disputes with documentation of the transaction. We also reserve the right to decline requests that show signs of abuse — for example, repeated or coordinated refund or chargeback activity, or attempts to reverse legitimate, completed donations. These measures exist to keep White Flower Foundation safe and trustworthy for everyone.
If you believe a campaign on the Platform is fraudulent or violates our Acceptable Use Policy, please contact us right away so our Trust & Safety team can investigate.
